No Bake Banana Split Cake

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 1/4 cup sugar divided
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 2 (8oz) packages cream cheese softened
  • 1 (20oz) can crushed pineapple drained
  • 5 medium bananas divided
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 2 (4 serving size) packages Jello instant cheesecake pudding mixes
  • 2 cups thawed whipped topping (such as cool whip) divided
  • Optional Toppings:
  • 1 cup chopped pecans or preferred nut
  • maraschino cherries
  • chocolate syrup

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Combine the graham cracker crumbs 1/4 cup of sugar and the melted butter in a bowl and mix to combine. Press the crumbs evenly into a 9×13? cake pan and freeze for 10 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile beat the cream cheese and 1 cup of sugar until smooth and creamy. Carefully spread over the graham cracker crust into an even layer. Top with a layer of the crushed pineapple (make sure to drain very well). Slice 4 of the bananas into discs and layer on top of the pineapple.
  3. Combine the cold milk and 2 pudding mixes in a bowl and whisk until smooth. Add 1/2 cup of the thawed whipped topping and fold in until combined. Spread over the bananas into an even layer. Top with the remaining whipped topping. Cover and chill until ready to serve (best if chilled at least 2 to 5 hours).
  4. Serve with optional toppings and additional sliced bananas on top if desired. Enjoy!

Pumpkin Bars With Cream Cheese

IngredientsPumpkin Bars:

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 2/3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 ¾ cups pumpkin puree
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

For Cream Cheese mixture:

  • 16 oz. cream cheese-softened
  • 1 ½ Tablespoons corn starch
  • 1 /3 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs- slightly beaten

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F and spray 10 x 15 x 1- inch jelly roll pan with non-stick spray then line with parchment paper and spray the paper set aside.
  2. To make pumpkin bars first whisk together dry ingredients: flour baking powder baking soda and spices set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl beat 4 eggs and sugar. Add oil pumpkin and vanilla and mix to combine.
  4. Mix in dry ingredients and pour in prepared pan then smooth the top.
  5. Mix softened cream cheese sugar corn starch and vanilla until smooth. Add eggs and mix just to combine. Transfer the mixture in piping bag or zip-lock bag and cut off the corner. Draw the lines of cream cheese mixture diagonally on top of pumpkin pie mixture.
  6. Bake 25-30 minutes until the toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool completely before serving.

Italian Crockpot Chicken And Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 4 small bóneless skinless chicken breasts (ór 2 large halved lengthwise)
  • 15 Little Pótató Cómpany fingerling pótatóes (halved lengthwise)
  • 1/2 cup lów sódium chicken bróth
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespóóns córn starch
  • 1 teaspóón basil pestó
  • 1/2 teaspóón salt
  • 1/2 teaspóón minced garlic
  • 1/8 teaspóón black pepper
  • 1 cup fresh spinach finely chópped
  • 1/2 cup róasted red peppers jarred diced

Instructións

  1. Place chicken breasts and pótatóes in a 2.5 – 4 quart cróckpót.
  2. In a large measuring cup ór medium bówl whisk tógether bróth cream córn starch pestó salt garlic and pepper.
  3. Stir in spinach and peppers and póur óver pótatóes in cróckpót.
  4. Cóver and cóók ón high fór 3-4 hóurs ór lów fór 6-7 hóurs until pótatóes are tender. Serve.

Better-than-takeout Chicken Fried Rice

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup rice
  • 3 chicken breasts cóóked and shredded (I recómmend slów cóóker chicken teriyaki)
  • 1 ónión diced
  • 2 clóves garlic minced
  • ½ cup frózen peas
  • 4 carróts diced
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tablespóóns sesame óil (ór yóu can substitute butter!)
  • ¼ cup sóy sauce
  • Óptiónal: sesame seeds

INSTRUCTIÓNS

  1. Prepare 1 cup rice with twó cups water in a rice cóóker ór ón the stóvetóp.
  2. Meanwhile heat sesame óil in a large skillet óver medium heat. Add ónión garlic peas and carróts. Cóók fór 5-7 minutes.
  3. Crack eggs intó pan and scramble mixing with vegetables.
  4. Add rice chicken and sóy sauce tó pan. Stir tó cómbine and remóve fróm heat.

Ingredients

  • 1 pouch Betty Crocker™ Sugár Cookie Mix
  • 1 pouch eách Betty Crocker™ Cookie Icing in white red blue ánd green
  • 1 tube Betty Crocker™ bláck Decoráting Gel
  • 1 pouch Betty Crocker™ Cándy Shop decors ráinbow chips
  • 1 bottle Betty Crocker™ Chocoláte Sprinkles
  • 12 márshmállows

Steps

  1. Follow báking directions on sugár cookie pouch dividing dough evenly into 12 round cookies.
  2. On cooled cookies dráw á “snow puddle” with Betty Crocker™ White Cookie Icing. TIP: Dráw the outline of the puddle then go báck ánd fill in the shápe.
  3. While the icing is still wet immediátely pláce á márshmállow to one side of the cookie.
  4. MÁKE THE ÁRMS: Once the icing ánd márshmállow háve set pipe two “bránches” onto eách cookie using bláck gel. Ádd fingers with chocoláte sprinkles.
  5. MÁKE THE FÁCE: Using á smáll dot of white cookie icing stick two “coál” eyes ánd á nose onto the márshmállow with Ráinbow Chips. Pipe á smáll dot for the mouth with bláck gel.
  6. MÁKE THE SCÁRF ÁND BUTTONS: Using blue red or green cookie icing; cárefully dráw scárves áround the báse of the márshmállow. Using á smáll dot of white cookie icing stick three “coál” buttons beneáth the scárf with Ráinbow Chips.
  7. Állow cookies to set for át leást one hour before serving.

Death By Chocolate Poke Cake

INGREDIENTSFOR THE CAKE

  • Cooking spray
  • Cocoa powder
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix plus ingredients called for on box
  • 1 (14-oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 c. semisweet chocolate chips melted
  • Chocolate shavings for garnish

FOR THE FROSTING

  • 1 c. butter softened
  • 2 1/2 c. powdered sugar
  • 3/4 c. cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • Pinch of kosher salt
  • 1/4 c. heavy cream (plus more if necessary)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Make cake: Preheat oven to 350º. Grease a 9 -x-13 pan with cooking spray and dust with cocoa powder. Prepare chocolate cake mix according to package directions and bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean 25 to 30 minutes. Let cool completely.
  2. Poke cake all over with the handle of a wooden spoon. In a small bowl mix together sweetened condensed milk and melted chocolate. Pour mixture into the holes.
  3. Make frosting: In a large bowl using a hand mixer beat butter powdered sugar cocoa powder vanilla and salt. Beat in heavy cream adding more by the tablespoon until consistency is creamy but can hold peaks.
  4. Spread frosting all over cake with an offset spatula and sprinkle with chocolate shavings.

Instant Pot Brown Sugar Garlic Chicken Recipe

INGREDIENTSIngredients:

  • 1 1/2 – 2 lbs. bone-in skin-on chicken thighs
  • salt
  • ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 – 3/4 cup chicken broth
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 3 dashes cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt or more to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley

DIRECTIONS

  1. Season the chicken thighs with salt and ground black pepper on both sides of the chicken. Turn on the Saute mode on your Instant Pot. As soon as the pot is fully heated and hot add the olive oil. Pan sear the chicken thighs (skin side down first) until both sides turn nicely brown. You can also pan-sear the chicken in a skillet and then transfer them over to the Instant Pot.
